Introduction of DSM: After decades of reliance primarily upon supply-side resources, Distribution Companies (Discoms) are bringing demand-side management (DSM) programs into the mainstream of available resources. Most Discoms today are attempting to shape future demands of their customers through a variety of DSM programs. The DSM website has been created to develop knowledge, improve awareness, share best practices and support stakeholders initiatives on this matter.

Supported by ADEME: The French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) is a public agency under the joint authority of the Ministry for Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and the Sea, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The agency is active in the implementation of public policy in the areas of the environment, energy and sustainable development. www.ademe.fr
